What does Adonia mean?

ADONIA is named after the ancient Greek Adonia festival — a tradition where women planted fast-blooming, fast-fading gardens in mourning for Adonis, a meditation on how quickly beauty fades. ADONIA Studios exists to gently reverse that idea: instead of letting a meaningful bouquet fade and disappear, we press and set it so it lasts. The name is a nod to beauty's brevity — and a promise that yours doesn't have to end that way.

What is 3D floral preservation, and how is it different from "pressed" flowers?

Accepted Answer

Traditional pressing flattens flowers completely flat between pages. Our process presses and sets each bloom while preserving more of its natural shape, depth, and dimension, so the finished piece reads less like a flat botanical print and more like the bouquet itself, framed. We use special drying techniques to preserve both the color and unique shape of the original living blooms.
